I’m Still Here! (But My Car is No More…)
I’ve recently had some car trouble. It was just before 7:30am on Thursday, September 23, 2010. I was heading to work, taking my normal route on I-85NB towards Atlanta. Two lanes over from me, and about 2-3 car lengths in front of me, I saw smoke coming from the tires of a big rig. Within a few seconds, he had lost control, went through 3 lanes on the highway and slammed into the concrete wall on the left side of the road, about 100 feet in front of me.
Waze: Social Media Meets Turn-By-Turn Navigation
With GPS becoming a standard feature in mobile phones, there are now plenty of apps out there that provide the same turn-by-turn functions. Most people view this service as a tool, to get you where you want to go without ever needing to ask for directions. Waze is an app that builds on the standard GPS navigation service by keeping users plugged in to the world of social media, and does so quite well.

Google Buzz – Hello, World!
What’s that? A new Google toy to play with? Out of curiosity, plenty of us have been taking a peek at Google’s latest offering, so conveniently placed within our gmail accounts. I wonder at what point we realize that Google has already taken over the world?
